St Paul’s Pre-School Committee Mission Statement
We were voted ‘Outstanding’ by our parents!
St. Paul’s Pre-School is the Church’s own Pre-School based in the heart of the community of Chester Green, since 2010.
We are a non-profit making community Pre-School and our aim is to deliver high quality Pre-School education in a nurturing environment at an affordable competitive price.
We are registered by Ofsted to provide care for children over two years old. Under the Children’s Act 1989, we are registered to provide full day care between the hours of 8.30 am and 4.oo pm.
The children are given the opportunity to express themselves in their own unique way whilst ensuring we follow a carefully tailored curriculum focussed on development language, social and emotional skills, supporting physical development and exploring creative arts and crafts. We have a comprehensive range of toys, equipment and other stimuli is available to help each child progress through a structured learning program.
We aim to work with parents and their children to provide an holistic and supportive environment which extends from their home through to Pre-School, encouraging healthy lifestyles and families’ well-being.
Staff at St. Paul’s Pre-School have a wealth of knowledge and expertise. There is a commitment to ongoing training, in order to continually review and update ideas. We have strong links with St. Paul’s Church and other community church based toddler groups.
We also offer education vouchers for up to 15 hours free education for 2, 3 and 4 year old’s as supported by Derby City Council. All 3 and 4 year olds are eligable, to find out if you’re entitled to free childcare for 2 year olds, see the information on this page.
